do any body know about the USB graphic card?

i heard from my retailer that USB graphic card has been released recently and available abroad. he says that it will take time for coming to India. does any body know where can i buy this one online?
i have a sony vaio notebook model:VGN-NR17G and from whom i have bought this says that it won’t be possible to put a graphic card into it.

why would you want a USB graphics card…

a usb graphics card would be EXTREMELY limited by the maximum speed of the usb port..

wether 1.1 or 2.0

a directly connected usb would process information at several hundred Megabits per second…

however a standard graphics card processes information at several gigabits per second…which is MANY times faster

if you think USB graphics card is gonna do all the work for you
think again..
