Can a Sega genesis controller be used on a computer for games?
I’m Curious to know if anyone can tell me whether or not a Sega Game System’s controller can be used on a computer with a simmilar serial input as the controller has?
I’m pretty much wondering if there is a program to allow the controller to work with a normal PC (more or less Like a windows based PC). I run XP in my computer so I’m not too familliar with these newer computers as it is, but if anyone can figure this out, let me know please, there is a serial port simmilar to the ones that the Sega Mega drive?Genesis use on my computer, so I would assume that it may be possible. But I would Like to know for certain.
The megadrive/genesis controllers will work with some – for instance they will work on an Amiga (I used to play robocop with one) but I don’t think they will work on a current pc, not to the best of my knowledge anyway.
