I own a 2002 Honda Civic. Does anyone know if this has a factory sealed radiator?

I bought the car used and it didn’t come with an owners manual. I was curious because I think I should flush the radiator and refill with new coolant, but didn’t know if it was necessary. Any help is appreciated.

The answer to your question is no it is not factory sealed. Honda recommends that you flush and fill 3 yrs or 36 thousand miles. It probably is a good idea to do it unless you know that the previous owner has done it recently.You should also do it just so that you wont run into radiator failure as a result or even worse an engine problem . While you are at it check the hoses to make sure that they show no signs of cracking.
