They say that a customer who has a good experience will tell two people while a customer who has a bad experience will tell ten. I want everybody to tell everything.

Fan of Structure

I'm hoping that bringing some structure to ShopAndTellNL will help to increase my following and bring some interesting customer service content to my site. I started today with Pet Peeve Monday, where I'm looking for general comments on those little things that seem to happen on a regular basis in customer service situations. So far, it's going well, and I'm seeing quite a few things that, with a little attention on the part of the employees, could easily be resolved and improve the customer experience for everyone.

Tomorrow, I'm going to be asking for shout-outs to customer service reps who you've noticed going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience in their establishment. Do you know of a clerk who always treats you with respect and extra assistance? Does a certain barista where you get your coffee make your morning just a little more bearable? Let them know that their efforts are not going unnoticed! Hopefully Tuesdays can become the one day where we see more goodservice stories than poorservice stories!

Finally, on Wednesday, I'm thinking I'd like to turn the tables. Any customer service clerks out there who have funny/strange/terrible stories from the other side of the counter? I know us consumers can be very vocal...now's a chance to talk back (which would be totally inappropriate during working hours, but all's fair on Twitter).

Anyone have any ideas to fill up the rest of my week?
